We are back with more racing for the 2019-2020 NNN Winter Championship. Massive thanks to all those both new and old who took the chance and came racing despite the poor weather conditions. We started off with a wet track which over the day dried but it was tricky throughout with the lack of traction.
Well done to Derek who took the victory in Nitro after bumping up from a strong finish in the B Final, started 10th in the A and finishing 1st after 30mins. Colin who took victory in Ebuggy class with drivers making it difficult in the early stages of the race, he manage to stay consistent and brought it his buggy home in 1st. Congrats to all who tool part and we hope to see you all in two weeks time.

Well done to everyone who took part at today’s Round 9 of the Winter Championship. Great win in Nitro class for Jimmy keeping it consistent in the final. Kim wasn’t to far behind finishing second closely followed by Sean. In Ebuggy David checked out and dominate the class today. Richard after a disaster last time out came back to put in a great performance finishing 2nd with Adrian seeking into the final podium spot.
Timing and championship table are now up to date on the site.
Hope to see you all again for the final round of the Championship in two weeks time.
We finish up today for the 2018 season with a friendly race day at Navan with a number of spot prizes for those in attendance. The day was dry but the track was wet after heavy overnight rain, this lead to tricky conditions on track with traction levels low all day.
TQ in Nitro went to Jimmy and in Ebuggy Derek.
Final result as follow,
In Nitro 1st was Derek, 2nd Jimmy and 3rd Sean.
In Ebuggy TQ was Derek
Final results 1st Colin , 2nd Richard , 3rd Derek
We missed the update for Round 4.
Results were as follow.
In Nitro 1st Barkley, 2nd Jimmy, 3rd Kim
In Ebuggy 1st Colin, 2nd Derek, 3rd Conor.
Next round is round 6 on January 13th.
Cya all then and in the meantime enjoy the Christmas and New Year break.
Well done to everyone who took part in Round 3 of the Championship over the weekend. Despite the delay in starting we got everything run even if it was a little dark by the end ( pitch black, 🔦🔦 ). In Nitro great win by Bradley who was flying in his JQ, Derek came in 2nd in the Tekno and Barkley despite having a issue with the car brought his Agama home in 3rd. Ebuggy was a floodlight race and we were treated to a great battle between two of the Tekno drivers for 1st + 2nd nose to tail for the 10mins but it was Derek who took it after a last lap pass on Colin in near darkness.
JQ driver Crtis Hughes drove a great race again this wekend finishing up in 3rd and showing hes no slouch when it comes to Ebuggy and 1/8th racing.
No Podium picture as it was to dark, results and timings are available through the link above.
Thanks again and cya all in 2 weeks for Round 4.
Well done to everyone who took part in Round 2 of the Winter Championship.
Tough conditions ☔☔ for all with damp conditions throughout.

2nd Barkley Abernethy 1st Bradley Baird 3rd Jimmy Chan
2nd David Yaffe 1st Colin Whelan 3rd Gary Hunter
